"Emirates Aluminum" Explore the opportunities for cooperation in Boxett with " Ghana for aluminum development"

Abu Dhabi, June 4 / WAM / Emirates International Aluminum Company announced today the signing of several agreements with the “Integrated Aluminum Development Company”, to explore the opportunities to develop projects related to Boxet in the Republic of Ghana.
Boxett is the raw material from which aluminum is made, and Ghana has more than 900 million tons of its resources, which are distributed between a large mine and others smaller, and Ghana is currently producing 1.5 million tons of bauxite annually.
Under the agreements, the Emirates International Aluminum Company cooperates with the “Ghana Integrated Company for Aluminum Development” to explore long -term partnerships to buy bauxite with the development of railway infrastructure and ports with the aim of expanding production.
Abdel Nasser bin Kalban, CEO of Emirates International Aluminum Company, stressed the agreement of these agreements with their strategic commitment to diversify the sources of raw materials in line with the continuous expansion of aluminum production, including the progress of their plans to build a first aluminum production factory in the United States, which was announced recently.
He expressed their aspiration to double the company’s production of Boxett in the coming years, while continuing to explore new opportunities around the world, including the Republic of Ghana.
