A 5.7 -magnitude earthquake hit Panama

Panama City on June 5/ WAM/ an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale, early this morning, “Thursday”, southwest of Arenas, Panama, without reports of damage or injuries.
The American Geological Survey stated that the earthquake center is located 299 km southwest of Arenas, and at a depth of 10 km.
The authorities in Panama or local emergency agencies have not announced any warnings of the tsunami or direct effects on coastal areas so far.
