Learn about the “Education” instructions for the first day of distance learning in the third semester

The Ministry of Education has determined the features of the first day of distance learning, 2026, as this day is considered a pivotal foundational milestone, the success of which will be directly reflected in the rest of the educational experience during the first weeks of the third semester of the current academic year 2025-2026.

Advance preparation

Within the “Parents’ Guide to Distance Learning” for the third semester of the academic year 2025-2026, the details of which were reviewed by Emirates Today, the Ministry stressed the importance of preparation before the start of the school day, as it is an integral part of the educational process, as it called on parents to review the expectations and guidelines regulating distance learning, and to review the daily school schedule, in addition to ensuring that the children are ready to enter the educational platforms.

Hardware efficiency

The Ministry focused on the necessity of testing electronic devices and Internet service, and ensuring the efficiency of the sound and camera, in order to limit any technical obstacles that may affect the conduct of virtual classes, and ensure a smooth and organized start to the school day.

Disciplined start

The Ministry recommended that students be helped to log in to the learning platform at the specified time when the school day begins, in order to join the first session without delay, noting that commitment to an accurate start contributes to building a stable daily routine, and enhances students’ discipline and interaction with classes.

Continuous follow-up

The guide stressed the importance of continuous follow-up during the school day, especially for students in the younger age levels, by monitoring their use of the educational platform and providing the necessary support when needed, to ensure efficient continuity of learning and uninterrupted interaction with teachers and academic content.

Critical factor

The guide reflects the Ministry’s direction towards strengthening the role of the family as a major partner in the success of the distance learning system, as the responsibility is not limited to preparing children at the beginning of the day, but extends to follow-up and guidance throughout the school day, in order to achieve a stable and stimulating educational environment within the home.

Organized start

These directives come within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to ensure an orderly start to the third semester, and to raise the readiness of students and parents to adapt to the distance learning pattern, in a way that supports the continuity of the educational process with efficiency and high quality.
