A notification of a bomb on one of the flights of “Gulf Air”

The General Administration of Civil Aviation in Kuwait stated that today, Sunday, June 8, 2025, and during the Gulf Air flight No. GF213 heading to the State of Kuwait on its scheduled flight, a report stating that a bomb was found on the plane.

The communication was dealt with immediately according to the procedures and security protocols approved at Kuwait International Airport, in full coordination with the Ministry of Interior and the relevant authorities, where the plane landed in peace, and the security plans established to deal with such communications were implemented and all passengers were removed from the plane.

Abdullah Al -Rajhi, the spokesperson for the General Aviation Administration, confirmed that all passengers in a isolated hall are healthy and safe, and there is no negative impact resulting from the flight. He also explained that all passengers are currently undergoing the security measures followed, in cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the General Administration of Civil Aviation, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of the crew and the airport, and to verify the plane free of any possible threat, and scheduled flights were not affected at Kuwait International Airport.

The General Administration of Civil Aviation, in cooperation with the competent security authorities, continues to follow up the situation and complete the procedures in accordance with the regulations and protocols in force to ensure the highest levels of security and safety, and that it is being seized on the cause of this communication and the security measures were taken on it.

The spokesperson concluded by emphasizing that the administration praises the cooperation of all relevant authorities, and confirms its constant commitment to maintaining the security and safety of air navigation in the State of Kuwait.
