According to the report, Israel decided to join the position of the American administration and end the activities of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) scattered in southern Lebanon after 47 years. Coordination with the Lebanese army is effective to the extent that the UNIFIL forces are in excess of need. Even the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the security zone in 2000, about four infantry battalions were published from the Blue Line to the Litani River, but with the withdrawal, their number decreased, and only about 2000 soldiers left. In the current war, it was a lot of claim that the force has never worked to prevent Hezbollah from armament and consolidate its presence in southern Lebanon.
