“Al Habtoor” and “Jahangiri” reach the final of the Dubai Polo Challenge Cup

The Al Habtoor and Jahangiri teams qualified for the final match of the Dubai Polo Challenge Cup, which is held with the participation of four teams with a handicap ranging between 8 and 10 rounds. The two teams will face off in an anticipated confrontation for the title today, Saturday, while the “Dubai Wolves by Thera” and “RGF” teams will meet in the consolation cup match.
The Al Habtoor team qualified for the final after defeating the Jahangiri team with a score of 9 goals to 5.5 goals in a strong match in the semi-final, in which the difference in classification (handicap) played an important role in the course of the match.
Despite the start that saw the Jahangiri team advance, benefiting from the difference in classification, the Al Habtoor team succeeded in turning the tide thanks to a strong performance and offensive momentum.
Despite its loss to Al Habtoor, the Jahangiri team was able to reserve its place in the final match, after having achieved victory in the opening match, to equal the score with the “RGF” team in the number of points and goals, before the tournament’s list decided its qualification to the final.
In the second match, the “RGF” team, led by Potopski, defeated the “Dubai Wolves of Thera” team with a score of 5.5 to 4 goals, in an equal confrontation that witnessed strong competition between the two teams until the end.
