المملكة: Half a million trucks and a sea-air route secure the flow of goods to the Gulf

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has enhanced the flow of trade movement with integrated logistical measures that ensure the sustainability of supply chains. The measures included activating the transit transport service to transport goods across the Kingdom’s territory to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The Ministry of Transport and Activating the air-sea logistics route through the West Coast ports to ensure the continuity of the flow of shipments. This path passes through precise stages that begin with the containers arriving at the ports, then processing them and transporting them directly to international airports.

Specialized air cargo facilities handle and prepare these shipments in accordance with the highest international standards before shipping them by air to their final destinations. This integration between ports and airports reflects the efficiency of the Kingdom’s logistical infrastructure.

In a related context, the Knowledge and Beneficiary Service Center has been allocated to provide advisory and operational support via the unified number 199003. This center raises the slogan of more efficient communication for ports that compete globally, making it easier for investors and merchants to follow up on their shipments.

These developments come as a result of high-level integration between the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Transportationand logistics services, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, Civil Aviation, the Transport Authority, Ports, and the Union of Saudi Chambers. This institutional harmony confirms the Kingdom’s move towards becoming a global logistics center linking the three continents.
