Participation in the symbol between Etihad Airways and Ethiopian lines

Abu Dhabi, June 9 / WAM / Etihad Airways and Ethiopian Airlines launched the participation agreement to enhance the link between Africa, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, and increase global travel opportunities for guests, with sales launch today.
According to a press release issued today, Ethiopian Airlines will start flights from Addis Ababa Bolly International Airport to Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi on July 15, while Etihad will launch daily flights to Addis Ababa as of October 8.
This is the first step before the launch of the joint project agreed between Etihad Airways and Ethiopian Airlines in March 2025, which will provide greater opportunities to travel to travelers across the two networks.
The symbol participation agreement aims to facilitate the experience of traveling to the guests, by conducting one reservation and riding travel transactions once, allowing their luggage to transfer easily to their final destination.
Eric de, CEO of Commercial and Revenue Affairs at Etihad Airways said that through our joint networks, we open new horizons for our guests for smooth travel across Africa, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, and the ease of linking through Abu Dhabi and Edis Ababa will enhance the elasticity of trips, in addition to encouraging trade and tourism.
Under this partnership, Ethiopian Airlines passengers can reserve their flights from any departure point of Ethiopian Airlines, and benefit from the wide Ethiopian Airways network with flights through Addis Ababa to 55 destinations in 33 countries, including Anteby, Kinshasa, Kigali, Lucka and Victoria Falls, which expands their travel options throughout the continent.
Meanwhile, Ethiopian Airlines travelers can book flights on Etihad Airways via Abu Dhabi to 20 main destinations in Asia, Australia and the Middle East, including Sydney, Krabi, Colombo and Bennum Benh.
