India and Sri Lanka are discussing establishing an oil pipeline between them

Colombo, April 20 / WAM / Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Misri announced during his visit to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, that Indian Vice President CB Radhakrishnan and Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake discussed, on Sunday, the proposal related to linking India to Sri Lanka via an oil pipeline.
Misri explained that Radhakrishnan and Dissanayake also held fruitful talks on deepening multifaceted bilateral relations, in addition to housing projects and fishermen’s issues between the two neighboring countries in South Asia, according to the Press Trust of India.
