9 privileges supported by artificial intelligence technologies in the “laptop”

The portable computer industry sector, or what is known as “laptop”, has witnessed a major transformation thanks to the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, as these technologies have contributed to creating an unprecedented qualitative shift in the sector. This development has allowed the provision of a wide range of new features and services that were not previously available, which opened broader horizons for users, and gave them more diverse options and flexibility in using their devices.
Artificial intelligence technologies have significantly enhanced the capabilities of laptop computers and changed the traditional concepts associated with their use, through a group of advanced privileges, the most prominent of which are nine privileges that include the following:
1- Improving performance efficiency
Artificial intelligence technologies have contributed to raising the level of performance and processing speed, by relying on neural processing units that are used to run artificial intelligence applications, such as simultaneous translation and image creation, and this has led to these tasks being carried out at a higher speed and efficiency compared to traditional computers.
2- Enhance battery performance
Artificial intelligence has helped improve power consumption inside laptops, by distributing software tasks more efficiently, and as a result it has become possible to extend battery life even when running large or complex applications.
3- Increase levels of automation
Artificial intelligence technologies have provided advanced capabilities to automate many daily tasks, reducing the effort spent on routine work. These tasks include organizing files, predicting texts, and managing remote systems, in addition to providing built-in smart assistants that provide services, such as automatic writing, summarizing texts, organizing e-mail, and suggesting work tasks.
4- Enhance customization
Laptops are becoming more adaptive to users, as systems learn from a user’s behavior over time, analyzing their habits and interests, to provide personalized suggestions and experiences tailored to their individual needs.
5- Providing smart security
Security in laptops no longer depends solely on identifying known viruses, but rather depends on advanced technologies such as “behavioral recognition,” which enables the system to monitor any abnormal activity or hacking attempts, and respond to them before they occur.

Artificial intelligence technologies have facilitated digital creativity processes, especially in the areas of photo and video editing, as they provide smart tools capable of automatically removing backgrounds and generating text and visual content, in addition to enhancing the efficiency of design and montage programs.
9 – Development of business meetings
Artificial intelligence has provided important advantages in computers to support the work environment, such as translating speech instantly during meetings or videos, and converting audio into text instantly, which contributes to improving communication and increasing productivity.
Continuous development
The head of the marketing department at Acer, Joumana Karam, said that laptops need continuous development in their hardware and software components, so that they can run artificial intelligence applications that perform complex tasks, noting the importance of integrating the latest processors that contain neural processing units, along with advanced graphics cards and processing cores, in order to accelerate artificial intelligence processes with high efficiency.
Karam added to “Emirates Today” that, in light of the current availability of devices supported by artificial intelligence in the markets, there is a need for advanced cooling systems to maintain appropriate temperatures while running applications for difficult tasks, in addition to the need to provide devices with highly efficient batteries, to ensure a longer life and sustainable energy consumption.
