3 important health procedures for state pilgrims after returning to ensure the safety of their families

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection called on the pilgrims of the country returning from performing the rituals of Hajj, to follow 3 important and basic measures to maintain their health and the health of their families, stressing the importance of taking enough rest, drinking sufficient quantities of fluids, and monitoring the health status during the two weeks of return.

The ministry emphasized that if symptoms such as “fever or coughing” appear to a degree that affects the practice of daily activities, it may be an indication of an infection, and it calls for following the following steps:

  • See a doctor immediately when you feel symptoms.
  • Cover the mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing with a handkerchief, washing the hands well and frequently.
  • Avoid mixing others as much as possible to avoid transmitting the infection to them.

These recommendations fall within the efforts of the “Ministry of Health” to enhance societal prevention and reduce the transmission of diseases after the Hajj season, calling on all returnees to adhere to preventive measures and communicate with health centers when needed.
