Mohammed bin Rashid: The best of charity is water

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, honored the winners of the Mohammed bin Rashid International Water Award.

His Highness said through his official account on the “X” website: “We honored the winners of the Mohammed Bin Rashid International Water Award, which is supervised by the Emirates Suqiya Foundation … Our goal of launching this award is to motivate and encourage innovations to address the problem of water shortage, scarcity and pollution in the less fortunate societies …”.

His Highness continued, saying: “Today in the fourth session we have 12 real innovations that help to obtain safe and clean water at a few costs.”

His Highness added: “We congratulate the winners … and we invite all the institutions concerned with this sector to benefit from their innovations … We also congratulate the UAE water team within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum global initiatives for their success in organizing this award … and their success in implementing more than 1,000 sustainable water projects in 37 countries around the world that benefit 15 million people.”

His Highness concluded by saying: “I prefer charity watering water … and the best people benefit them for people … and innovation in providing water ongoing charity … and a permanent and uninterrupted good.”
