15 thousand participants in the workers’ feast tournaments in Dubai
Dubai, June 10/ WAM/ More than 15,000 people of different nationalities participated in the labor feast championships organized by the Positive Spirit Council in Dubai Police, in cooperation with the Events Security Committee, the Roads and Transport Authority, the Dubai Sports Council, the Dubai Municipality, the Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation, the Police Centers Directors Council, the community police department, the empowerment of the owners of determination, and the initiative “on your path”.
The activities of the championships were held in four main areas at the emirate level, which included Al -Mutharana, Al -Rouz, Al -Sattawa, and Nazz – Jabal Ali, in an interactive societal atmosphere and a wide turnout from workers.
The championships included various sports competitions, including a basketball championship with the participation of 114 players distributed over 14 teams, and a women’s volleyball championship, in which 112 women from 14 teams participated, along with a men’s volleyball championship, in which 96 players representing 12 teams participated.
The cord tightening competition witnessed a great turnout, in which 648 players from 84 teams participated, while a special basketball championship for the Pakistani community was organized with the participation of 80 players among 8 teams.
Within the framework of the accompanying activities, Muhammad Al -Hajjaji, Secretary of the Empowerment Council of Defomers, presented educational workshops on sign language and ways to communicate with the deaf category, with the aim of enhancing societal and comprehensive awareness.
