Researchers create a way to convert lead into gold

A team of researchers at the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN) succeeded in converting lead into gold, using advanced physical techniques.
The Spanish newspaper “Marca” stated in a report that the researchers used a special type of bullet, and they accelerated it until it approached the speed of light, which led to the generation of an electromagnetic field that caused the loss of bullets to some of its ingredients and turned it into the nuclei of gold.
Scientists monitored this transformation using a specialized heat detector used to track atomic reactions.
This process resulted in the production of approximately 90,000 nucleus of gold per second during collisions, bringing the total amount between 2016 and 2018 to about 29 pcgamia.
Despite the small amount of this amount, it has a great scientific importance to understand the nature of the material, according to “Marca”.
The report indicated that this achievement does not aim to achieve financial profits, but rather seeks to simplify the concepts of development and electromagnetic disintegration, and improve wheel engineering, as well as prove the possibility of the elements being transformed under pressure.
The same source emphasized that the gold resulting from these experiences is very accurate and only sees the microscope, and it has no economic value, but it carries a great scientific value, as it contributed to changing the understanding of scientists for the structure of the material, and it may open new horizons in the field of scientific research.
