Dubai Human Resources and Campus Dubai cooperate to rehabilitate 10,000 people in artificial intelligence by 2030

The Dubai Government Human Resources Department signed a memorandum of understanding with the “Dubai AI”, affiliated with the Dubai International Financial Center, with the aim of developing and qualifying human cadres in the government and private sectors in the field of artificial intelligence, through specialized training programs that seek to qualify more than 10,000 people by 2030.

This partnership is part of the department’s efforts to enhance the readiness of human resources to keep pace with global digital transformations, and is in line with the targets of the Dubai Economic Agency (D33) Aimed at building a sustainable knowledge economy and enhancing the emirate’s position as a global center for technology and innovation.

His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Dubai Government, stressed that the signing of the memo reflects the department’s commitment to developing the skills of government and private sector employees, and enabling them to tools and technologies of the future, noting that investing in human capital is a basic pillar to consolidate Dubai’s position within the leading knowledge economies.

His Excellency said: “This partnership comes to provide employees with future skills that qualify them to lead digital transformation, support the sustainability of economic and social development, enhance Dubai’s competitiveness, and ensure a work environment based on institutional excellence and innovation.”

For his part, His Excellency Issa Kazem, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Center said: “The rehabilitation of human cadres in the field of artificial intelligence represents a major priority to achieving Dubai’s ambitions in technological leadership. This cooperation reflects the importance of the integration of government efforts to provide employees with the required skills, in a way that contributes to building a sustainable knowledge economy and enhancing the emirate’s ability to compete globally.” The agreement includes the design and implementation of training programs that focus on practical applications and applied projects, with the allocation of training content for targeted groups such as senior leaders and executives, in addition to vocational counseling programs, training residence, communication opportunities and exchange of experiences.

The “Artificial Intelligence for Civil Service” program is one of the most prominent joint initiatives, as it targets government sector employees, and allows them to implement the technologies of obstetric intelligence to improve public services. Participants are required to present innovative ideas held by a committee that includes representatives from the Dubai International Financial Center, the “Odasity” platform and experts from the sector.

Cooperation also includes organizing advanced seminars and workshops, preparing specialized scientific content, and reviewing the latest studies on artificial intelligence applications in the field of human resources, as well as the joint promotion of technical initiatives embraced by Dubai.

The signature of the memo comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Human Resources Department of the Dubai Government, the Dubai International Financial Center and the “Dubai AI” in supporting the culture of government innovation, and preparing a new generation of competencies capable of leading the future and achieving Dubai’s strategic visions.
