Israel committed a “fatal mistake” that will “destroy it” that will lead to “its destruction”

The Iranian Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, said in a statement this evening that it was Israel who started the war, adding that Tehran will not allow it to launch “cruggling” attacks without severe consequences.
Khamenei stated in a televised speech that Israel will not remain safe “from the consequences” of what it had done after it launched intense bombing, at dawn on Friday, which affected several Iranian military and nuclear sites and led to the killing of high leaders.
The Iranian guide stressed that Israel committed a “fatal mistake” by its broad attack on Iran, pledging that this would lead to its “destruction”, as he put it.
This comes as Iranian official television announced, on Friday evening, the start of “Iranian missile attacks” on Israel in response to the strikes carried out by Tel Aviv at dawn.
This announcement came after the televised word of Khamenei, in which he emphasized that “our armed forces are ready, and the country’s officials and all the people stand behind.”
The Iranian guide stressed that Israel “launched a war”, and Tehran “will not turn a blind eye,” he said.
Khamenei said that the Iranian army is ready for the military response, adding: “Do not think that they were struck and ended … No. They started work and started war … We will not allow them to escape peace from this major crime they committed.”
