Abdullah bin Zayed concludes a working visit to the United States
Washington on June 14 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, concluded a working visit to the United States of America, during which he met a number of senior White House officials, members of Congress and the US Senate.
His Highness’s visit included a meeting with His Excellency Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State, where strategic relations between the two countries were discussed and ways to enhance them to serve their mutual interests.
The meeting also reviewed bilateral cooperation in various development sectors, especially economic, commercial and scientific, as well as advanced technology and artificial intelligence.
His Highness met His Excellency Steve Whitchov, the US President’s Special Envoy to the Middle East, where the meeting discussed cooperation and partnership between the UAE and the United States of America, and the growth and development it witnesses in various fields.
The talks also touched on the overall regional developments, and ways to end the tension and escalation in the region and threaten its security and stability.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed during his meeting with His Excellency Stephen Miller, Vice President of the White House Policy employees and the Internal Security Adviser, a number of files and topics of common concern, related to the paths of strategic cooperation between the two countries, joint work to achieve peace, stability and development, and maintain international peace and security.
His Highness also held a meeting with His Excellency Howard Lootnick, the US Secretary of Commerce, which touched on ways to support and expand bilateral cooperation paths in all fields, to serve the development priorities of the two countries, including economic, financial, commercial and other fields.
His Highness also held meetings with a number of members of the American Senate, and a number of members of Congress, during which the ways of building on the advanced Emirati -American strategic relations were reviewed to enhance the prosperity and prosperity of the two countries and their peoples, and support efforts to achieve peace, security and stability in the region and the world.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed during the meetings that the relations between the UAE and the United States of America are a distinguished model for international cooperation in support of development, peace and stability, praising the positive and constructive partnership that links the two countries over decades.
His Highness expressed the UAE’s aspiration to continue working with the United States to enhance the development and prosperity of this distinctive relationship for the prosperity and peoples of the two countries.
