Jordan reopens its airspace in front of the air traffic

Amman, June 14 / WAM / Jordan announced this morning, Saturday, the reopening of its airspace and the resumption of air traffic, hours after it was closed as a precautionary measure due to regional tensions.

The Jordan News Agency quoted Captain Haitham Mousso, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commissioners Council, as saying that the decision came into effect from seven thirty in the morning local time.
The authority had decided yesterday to suspend the air movement and temporarily close the atmosphere in front of all the upcoming, departing and passing planes of the Kingdom, in anticipation of any risks that may be produced as a result of the escalation in the region.
