Muscat, June 15 / WAM / The estimated spending of the budgets of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries for the current year was 2025 .. 542.1 billion US dollars, while government revenues estimated at 487.8 billion US dollars, while the estimated deficit amounted to 54.3 billion US dollars, according to data issued by the statistical center of the cooperation countries.
The statistical center of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries indicated that government revenues in the countries of the Council are directly affected by the movement of global oil prices, as oil revenues constitute the largest percentage of financial resources, and countries follow a conservative approach in calculating the price of the drawing oil to estimate their general budgets to avoid international economic fluctuations and fluctuating global oil prices.
It is expected that government revenues will continue in relative stability, while oil prices remain at moderate to high levels.
