The shares of the Saudi Research and Media Group listed in the Saudi stock market “Tadawul” increased by 9.89%, reaching the price of 155.60 riyals per share, achieving its highest price in a month.

The trading on the share of the Saudi Research and Media Group at that time came through 193.26 thousand shares with a value of trading 29.41 million riyals.

The highest price for the share at that time was at 155.60 riyals, while the share price was at 143.80 riyals.

The initial financial results of the Saudi Research and Media Group showed a decrease in its net profits during the first quarter of 2025 by approximately 64.4% compared to the previous quarter, while it recorded a shift to profitability compared to the same period last year.

The company stated that its net profits after Zakat and tax amounted to about 31 million riyals, compared to profits of 86.87 million riyals during the same period in the previous year, while losses of 115.05 million riyals in the last quarter of 2024 recorded.

The company attributed this decrease in profits compared to the previous year to the decline in revenues across the various operating sectors, especially in the fields of public relations and advertising, publishing, and visual content, in addition to the decrease in the revenues of the printing and packaging sector, and in return, it indicated that the net financing costs decrease.

The revenues also recorded a decrease to 665.66 million riyals, compared to 814.86 million riyals in the first quarter of the previous year, which represents a decline of about 18.3%.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Research and Media Group is a company listed in the Saudi financial market since May 2006, and is active in the media sector with a focus on the field of publishing, and its headquarters are in the capital Riyadh, and it was established in July 2000.
