Collaborate "Interior" And Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities

Abu Dhabi, June 17 / WAM / The Ministry of Interior signed a memorandum of understanding with Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two sides in implementing a number of joint initiatives and projects that contribute to developing reform and rehabilitation programs, and upgrading them according to international best practices.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Saeed Ali Lootah, Acting Director General of the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, and on the University of Mohammed bin Zayed University of Humanities, His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Director General of the University, in the presence of His Excellency Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the Director of the University.
The memo aims to enhance the partnership in a number of fields, most notably, to prepare applied and field studies, develop scientific research in the field of reform and rehabilitation programs, and spread awareness of human rights values ​​and principles of international humanitarian law, as well as organizing meetings, training courses, workshops and specialized discussions.
The areas of cooperation also include the exchange of scientific production from works, research and conferences, implementing development projects and joint initiatives in the fields of future anticipation, innovation, and artificial intelligence, in addition to training and qualifying human cadres, providing scientific and professional consultations, and supporting graduation and practical training projects for university students.
