241 billion euros, European Union Investment Investment, nuclear Energy, up to 2050

Brussels on June 17/ WAM/ The European Commission has estimated investment needs in the nuclear energy sector at a value of 241 billion euros until 2050, to update the current reactors and build new wide -ranging reactors.
The Eighth Nuclear Nuclear Program project indicated the need to pump additional investments to develop small, advanced and accurate standard reactors, in addition to supporting nuclear integration research in the long run.
According to the evaluation, the nuclear capacity in the European Union is expected to rise from about 98 GB in 2025 to 109 GB by 2050.
UNHCR also expected that more than 90% of electricity in the Federation will be produced by 2040 from carbon -free sources, the renewable energy is the largest part of it, supported by nuclear energy.
It is expected that the final version of the document will be published after reviewing the European Economic and Social Committee.
