"Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure" Supervising projects worth 200 billion dirhams

Abu Dhabi, June 17 / WAM / His Excellency Adel Al -Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Display Sector for Capital Projects at the Abu Dhabi Center for Projects and Infrastructure, stressed that the center is currently overseeing the implementation of more than 600 projects at a cost of more than 200 billion dirhams, including specific projects in the housing, education, tourism and others sectors.
He added in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” on the sidelines of the start of the work of the first day of the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit 2025, that one of the most prominent projects to be delivered during the current year is housing and public park projects, which are one of the basic pillars in improving the quality of life and the prosperity of society and providing a stable and integrated environment for the residents and residents of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
He pointed out that the center adopts advanced global systems in managing government projects, and is constantly working on developing construction contracts approved in the emirate, in a way that contributes to accelerating implementation operations and ensuring the completion of projects within the specified budgets, and without disputes that impede the workflow, which enhances the market attractiveness to developers and investors alike.
He explained that the center continues to supervise strategic projects that contribute to developing a sustainable and flexible infrastructure that supports the well -being of society and reflects Abu Dhabi’s vision in comprehensive urban development, stressing that the contracts constitute an essential pillar in managing these projects in an optimal way, adding that the role of the center is not limited to project management according to the global systems followed, but also seeks to attract the largest number of companies and developers.
Al -Naimi pointed to the role of the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit 2025, organized by the center, in gathering strategic partners to support infrastructure projects in the emirate, and attracting a group of sector pioneers to discuss ways of cooperation in major fields that include real estate and construction.
The summit is expected to become the most prominent effectiveness of the infrastructure sector in the region, as a group of policy makers, executives and sector leaders gathered to launch an influential dialogue on the latest global trends, technological developments and innovations, which constitute future urban lifestyles.
The first version of the summit is focused on major sectors such as construction, health care, mobility, energy, and urban design, as well as highlighting the most important developments in the field of smart cities and standard infrastructure, planning to enhance the quality of life, innovation in design, global investment models, and future organizational frameworks.
