The government of the Emirates and Pakistan are launching a strategic partnership in modernizing government work

The state of Mohamed Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Republic of Pakistan, affirmed the keenness of Pakistan to strengthen the friendship that brings it together with the UAE and expand the horizons of cooperation in various fields and benefit from the state’s experience in government work, as the UAE has put its government among the global governments advanced by its modern and advanced administrative system.

Shahbaz Sharif said during the meeting of the delegation of the UAE government, which included Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Cognitive Exchange, and Hamad Obaid Al -Zaabi, the UAE ambassador to the Republic of Pakistan, that Pakistan has taken steps such as digitization and non -paper economy to improve its administrative structure, and the application of a customs system without identity, stressing that Pakistan wants to benefit from the experiences of the UAE to achieve rational and constructive governance An effective system to improve data -based decision -making.

The Prime Minister pointed to his meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, during his recent visit to Abu Dhabi, stressing that the meeting was very fruitful, praising the continuous support and qualitative development initiatives provided by the UAE to Pakistan.

The state of Mohamed Shahbaz Sharif witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the strategic partnership between the governments of the Emirates and Pakistan in the fields of government modernization, signed by Abdullah Nasser Lootah, Dr. Ashfal Iqbal, Minister of Planning in the government of Pakistan, in the presence of Mohamed Ishaq Dar Dar Dar Dar the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jam Kamal Khan, Minister of Commerce, and Hamad Obaid Al -Zaabi, the UAE ambassador to the Republic of Pakistan.

Mohamed Abdullah Al -Garqawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, stressed, in a statement on the occasion of the launch of the strategic partnership in the government modernization between the UAE and the Republic of Pakistan, that the two friendly countries have developed since the era of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, are firm relations, indicating that the rational leadership continues to build on these relations in a way that ensures the sustainability of positive positive cooperation to achieve goodness and prosperity for the people of the two friendly countries.

Mohammed Al -Garqawi said that the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, continue to work to enhance cooperation, and to push the march of positive and fruitful partnership with the Republic of Pakistan, and expand its fields, in a way that enhances the march of relations in various fields, and contributes to achieving common visions of the two friendly countries.

Through partnership, the two countries will work to improve government performance through the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and development models in related fields, while partnership covers areas such as good governance, development planning, government sector reforms, human resources development, urban planning, science and technology.

The partnership reflects the commitment of both parties to enhance joint work, mutual benefit from successful experiences in the government sector, cooperation in exchanging experiences, best practices, and developing institutional capabilities, in a way that contributes to supporting government modernization and development efforts.

Abdullah Lootah emphasized that the launch of the partnership between the governments of the Emirates and Pakistan in the fields of government modernization reflects the directions of the leaders of the two friendly countries to enhance strategic partnerships in general, expand the scope of cooperation in the fields of government work, and exchange experiences and best practices in the government sector in particular, indicating that the visit aimed to explore new opportunities for cooperation between government agencies, and support efforts to develop and modernize government work.

Abdullah Lootah said that the UAE and the Republic of Pakistan have distinct historical relations and ties, and that the new agreement comes within the initiatives of the UAE government to translate the directions of the wise leadership to expand areas of cooperation and partnership between the two friendly countries, and to create qualitative transfers at various levels of bilateral cooperation.

In a related context, Mohamed Ishaq met the Dar of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Pakistan, the delegation of the UAE government, and the delegation also met in another meeting, Dr. Ashfal Iqbal Chaudhry, Minister of Planning and Development and Special Initiatives, in the presence of Bilal Kayani, Minister of State for Financial Affairs in the government of the Republic of Pakistan, and the two meetings witnessed the discussion of the positive path of bilateral relations, and the exchange of views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of governance and development Institutional and innovation in the government sector.
