Mohammed bin Rashid announces changes in the Emirates government

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, announced today some changes in the government of the UAE, including the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Trade in the UAE government, and the change of the name of the Ministry of Economy to be the Ministry of Economy and Tourism

His Highness said in his official account on the “X” platform: “Brothers and sisters … after consulting with my brother, the head of the state, may God protect and adopt him … today we announce some changes in the UAE government as follows:

Establishing a Ministry of Foreign Trade in the UAE government and appointing Dr. Thani Al -Zyoudi as Minister of Foreign Trade, and changing the name of the Ministry of Economy to be the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and undertaken by Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri.

His Highness continued: “We also announce that the national artificial intelligence system – as a consultant member in the Council of Ministers, the Ministerial Council for Development and all boards of directors of federal bodies and government companies starting from January 2026 with the aim of supporting the decision -making in these councils, conducting immediate analyzes of their decisions, providing technical advice to them, and raising the efficiency of government policies adopted by these councils in all sectors.”

His Highness concluded by saying: “The world is going through a comprehensive formation stage … scientifically … economically … and socially … and our goal is to prepare from today for the next contracts … Our goal is to ensure the continuation of the well -being and the decent life for future generations …”.
