Mohammed bin Rashid declares changes in the Emirates government

After the consultation and the accreditation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, announced yesterday, changes in the UAE government, and the adoption of the national artificial intelligence system – as a consultant member in the Council of Ministers and the Ministerial Council for Development and the boards of directors of federal bodies and all government companies, starting from January 2026.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, in a post of His Highness on his account on the X platform: “Brothers and sisters … after consulting with my brother, the head of the state, may God protect him, and his adoption. Today, we announce some changes in the government of the UAE as follows: the establishment of a Ministry of Foreign Trade in the UAE government, the appointment of Dr. Thani Al -Zyoudi as Minister of Foreign Trade, and the change of the name of the Ministry of Economy to be the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, and it is undertaken by Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri.

His Highness added: «We also announce that the national artificial intelligence system – as a consultant member in the Council of Ministers and the Ministerial Council for Development and the boards of directors of federal bodies and all government companies, starting from January 2026, with the aim of supporting the decision -making in these councils, conducting immediate analyzes of their decisions, providing technical advice to them, and raising the efficiency of government policies adopted by these councils in all sectors.

His Highness continued: «The world is going through a comprehensive reshaping stage .. scientifically .. economically .. and socially .. and our goal is to prepare from the day for the next contracts .. Our goal is to ensure the continuation of well -being and the decent life for future generations.”

Mohammed bin Rashid:

• Changing the name of the Ministry of Economy to be the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and undertaken by Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri.

• Establishing a Ministry of Foreign Trade in the UAE government, and appointing Dr. Thani Al -Zyoudi as Minister of Foreign Trade.

• Our goal is to prepare from today for the next contracts .. Our goal is to ensure the continuation of the well -being and a decent life for future generations.
