"History narrated".. Interactive platform that revives the memory of Sharjah

Sharjah, June 21/ WAM/ The Darwah House in the Emirate of Sharjah launched a societal initiative entitled “History Tarwi” today in the bright City Center that will continue until June 26 to enhance awareness of the importance of documentation, preserving national memory and direct interaction with the public through an innovative documentary and historical experience.
The initiative includes an integrated platform that embraces a set of events and rich elements, most notably a historical exhibition that reviews the features of the emirate’s history and its transformations between the past and the present in an interesting and attractive optical style that reflects the stages that formed the identity of Sharjah and its civilized specificity.
The initiative also includes an interactive corner entitled “Check your Document” through which the documentation house extends an open invitation to the public to bring their own documents to be examined by specialists and submit practical steps to preserve them according to international best practices.
The initiative completes its societal dimensions through the corner of “Once O place”, which allows visitors the opportunity to list their stories and memories related to the history of the emirate to be part of the oral narration that the house feeds its documentary memory.
Maha Salem Al -Muhairi, Director of Government Communication Department in the house, said that the “History of Tarish” initiative is an important step towards promoting societal awareness of the importance of documents and documentation and an open invitation to all members of society to be part of the novel’s history novel, as well as collecting more value documents, which enhances the documentary balance of the house and supports its efforts in preserving the national memory and documenting the unique Sharjah march.
Al -Muhairi called on the audience to visit the platform and active participation in it, both by bringing their documents to examine and preserve them, or from the participation of their stories and memories, which are part of the historical fabric of Sharjah.
