Ammar bin Hamid chairs the Executive Council meeting and adopts an initiative "Our summer is balanced"

Ajman on June 23 / WAM / The Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman approved in today’s meeting in the government building building at the Emiri Diwan headed by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Council, the “Balanced Summer” initiative in the Ajman government in order to enhance the balance between job and social life, and in support of the quality of the lives of the employees during the summer months and promoting family communication, in harmony With the general community initiatives.

The initiative requires the application of the work system remotely on Friday by 100%, during the period from 1 July to August 22, 2025, and reduce daily working hours to 7 instead of 8 from Monday to Thursday, specifically from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, while ensuring the continued provision of vital services through a flexible internal organization in government agencies.

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi stressed that the Ajman government, led and directed by His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al -Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ajman, pays great attention to providing a flexible and stimulating work environment that takes into account the employees’ practical and social needs.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman pointed out that the stability of the family and social employee is a basic pillar in the development of the emirate, stressing that His Highness is that the well -being of man remains a permanent priority, because it is the main and most important factor in raising the efficiency of institutions and enhancing the quality of government performance.

His Highness added, “We seek through our balanced summer initiative to enhance environmental sustainability, by reducing daily mobility emissions, in line with the goals of Ajman 2030 vision to build a more balanced and sustainable society.”

The Human Resources Department, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Executive Council, is following up the implementation of the initiative, developing organizational models, and submitting an evaluation report by the end of September 2025 on the impact on performance and the satisfaction of employees and society.

The “balanced summer” initiative embodies the attention of the Ajman government of its employees’ comfort, by providing a flexible work environment between personal and professional life, and contributes to achieving better productivity and greater happiness.

During its session, which was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, the representative of the Governor for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Vice -President of the Executive Council, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, head of the Tourism Development Department, and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, head of the Municipality and Planning Department and members of the Council, also reviewed the results of the recent official visit to the Emirate of Ajman to the Chinese province The twinning of cities between the Emirate of Ajman and the municipality of Chungzings with the aim of exchanging experiences and knowledge in vital areas, and building sustainable development partnerships.

The Council set a number of recommendations and targets, in advance of which continues to communicate with the Chinese side by holding a coordination meeting at least every three months during the year 2025, and activating academic exchange programs.

Recommendations focused on the importance of attracting new Chinese investments, while focusing on vital sectors such as: technology and artificial intelligence companies, light industries, clean technologies, logistical services and supply chains, and the manufacture of smart devices and medical equipment, along with specialized education and professional training.

The Council recommended the invitation of an official Chinese delegation to visit the emirate of Ajman, as part of a hosting program that highlights the urban, organizational, cultural and economic elements of the emirate, in addition to presenting qualitative opportunities for investment in the emirate in line with the “Ajman 2030 Vision”, in addition to launching a package of facilities and incentives for Chinese investors.

The Council also adopted the launch of the “Ajman Learning” project as a leading initiative within the Ajman 2030 vision, to enhance the lifelong learning system in the emirate.

The project aims to establish effective governance frameworks, monitoring and follow -up mechanisms to measure progress towards consolidating Ajman’s position as a city of learning, and making lifelong learning a major driver of societal inclusion, innovation, and sustainable growth.

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, affirmed that promoting lifelong learning is a pillar to achieve the vision of the emirate, through investing in people and providing him with the necessary skills for the future.

His Highness stressed the emirate’s commitment to the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, in developing human capital, and building an integrated educational system that supports sustainable social and economic growth.

The council directed the launch of a program to approve the technical and vocational training centers and institutes, and ensure the quality of its outputs, in order to enhance its efficiency and alignment of the requirements of the labor market, in addition to maximizing the benefit of Ajman’s membership in the UNESCO International Learning Cities, which focuses on the principle of exchanging ideas and solutions between cities to achieve quality and inclusiveness in education, and includes a group of global cities that have succeeded in building knowledge societies based on Life learning.

The Executive Council reviewed the “Life Learning” report, which is the first of its kind at the Emirates level, as it represents the first specialized report issued by the Emirate of Ajman in this field, and provides a comprehensive reading of the reality of learning in the emirate, supported by data and statistics that highlight the progress and existing challenges.

The “Life Learning in the Emirate of Ajman” revealed numbers that reflect the maturity of the educational and societal system in the emirate, embodying the vision of “Ajman 2030” in building a sustainable knowledge society that enhances the competitiveness of the emirate.

The number of students in various stages of education reached more than 96,000 male and female students, of whom 78,000 are in private education, 17,000 in government education, and 1,200 in vocational education.

The emirate includes an integrated educational structure that includes more than 62 agencies for early education, more than 80 government and private schools, 5 universities, and 63 vocational and technical training centers, covering the fields of technology, languages, education and vocational skills.

Ajman also provides a comprehensive environment through more than five centers to rehabilitate the owners of determination, more than 34 sports clubs, and more than 14 charitable and humanitarian institutions, along with eight heritage sites and museums, a cultural center and a public library, a youth center, and a number of innovation centers and memorizing the Holy Quran, which reflects the integration of the educational and community system in the emirate.

The report highlighted the positive impact of Ajman’s accession to the global network of UNESCO learning cities in 2024, reflecting the emirate’s commitment to strengthening the sustainable education system and participating in exchanging experiences and experiences with leading global cities.
