The Emirates Group organizes the third version of "Tech opportunity"

Dubai, June 23 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme President of the CEO of Emirates Airlines and the group, opened the activities of the third edition of “Forsatek”, the innovation platform and the annual event organized by the Emirates Group, in the presence of His Excellency Sarah Al -Amiri, Minister of Education, and a number of senior executives in the Emirates Group.
The annual event is held at the headquarters of the Emirates Group, where it highlights advanced technological partnerships, promising startups, inspiring discussions, and emerging talents that develop innovative concepts that make radical changes.
The topics of the forum for this year shed light on how artificial intelligence, robots, and the Internet of Things will form the formation of the aviation sector, while highlighting the pivotal role of the human factor in adopting technology and achieving its maximum effectiveness.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said that, based on the success achieved by the previous two versions, “The opportunity of Tech 2025” comes to embody the continuous commitment of the Emirates Group to consolidate the next wave of innovations within our business, expand the scope of existing innovative solutions, support startups, and build an effective experimental environment that enables testing new solutions that drive our digital career.
His Highness added that the advanced exhibits in the “opportunity of Tech 2025” demonstrate on the systematic vision pursued by the Emirates Group to build an integrated environment that stimulates progress in the areas of artificial intelligence, modern technologies, research and development, and accelerating the pace of digital transformation, and we look forward to this event that inspires an inspiration for our teams and partners, and a motive to establish a culture of innovation as an essential element in the work and performance system Institutional.
This year’s version of the “opportunity of Tech” witnessed more than 40 shows of internal innovations and external partnerships, which were strategically organized to cover the various stages of the innovation path, from initial research and experimental models, to experiences of proving the concept and complete projects that are expanded.
Complete initiatives included advanced self -robots from “Trans Gerad” and “UAE Security” to promote safety and security in cities; The drone system from “Danata Cargo” to check the inventory; And 3D modeling and manufacturing techniques for spare parts from “Danata”; The system of analyzing aircraft operations and improving resource distribution using artificial intelligence in “Airport services in Emirates Airlines”, as well as other innovations that focus on enhancing efficiency and customer experience.
The experimental area included several initiatives in the field of facilitating access, including the “Glidance” smart device to help self -movement and safe for the blind; The “JeffCAN” sensory chair, which combines sensory design and technology to support and involve travelers with nervous diversity; The comprehensive “Airbus” cabin, which includes a toilet for people with limited motor capacity and a specialized wheelchair on board.
Maintenance and engineering experiments included an artificial intelligence platform and a computer vision for rapid and accurate detection of engines cutting; The stretching reality with the “Apple Vision Pro” reality to improve the visual perception of the components of the brakes, wheels and auxiliary energy units; The aircraft using drones, to perform accurate, fast and safe external checks.
His Excellency Sarah Al -Amiri, Minister of Education, delivered the opening speech of the “Vac 2025 opportunity”, which centered on “the impact of technology on public education”, in light of the UAE’s integration of artificial intelligence technologies within the various academic levels, with the aim of preparing young generations capable of interacting with a rapidly transformation world, and consolidating the UAE’s position as a major global player in the field of artificial intelligence.

During the event, the Emirates Group launched the “Ideas” application, an internal digital platform that allows all the group’s employees, in various locations and tasks, to contribute to offering new ideas that can be implemented.
In the event, the winning idea for this year was revealed, which is to automate the process of checking visas for customers, which removes one of the sophisticated sources that they may face during their trips.
