"Abu Dhabi Arabic Language" He concludes his participation in the Beijing International Book Fair 2025
Abu Dhabi, June 23 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, affiliated to the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, concluded its participation in the thirty -first session of the Beijing International Book Fair, which was held in the Chinese capital from 18 to 22 June 2025, within the UAE pavilion, which was organized for the first time the ministries of foreign and culture.
This participation came within the framework of the strategic vision of the center and aimed at enhancing the global position of the Arabic language, and consolidating its role in international cultural dialogue, by expanding cultural partnerships, and supporting institutional presence in international platforms, which contributes to highlighting Arabic as a language of civilization, and a source of cognitive and cultural production on the global stage.
The participation of the center in the Beijing Exhibition has gained special importance, due to its prestigious position on the map of international cultural events, as it classifies the second largest book exhibition in the world after Frankfurt, and the first in the Asian continent in terms of the size of international posts, programs and events specialized in publishing and cognitive content, and the number of exhibitors participating in this year has reached 1700 exhibitors, from 80 countries.
His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Tamim, head of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center said that the center plays an effective role in promoting the presence of the Arabic language, through cultural projects and qualitative initiatives, aimed at introducing the ammunition of literature, science, thought, knowledge and culture, stressing that the participation of the center in the international book exhibitions serves its efforts in enriching the state of conflict and dialogue between the Arabic language and the cultures of the world. He added that participation in the Beijing International Book Fair is an important step in the context of cultural convergence between the Arab and Chinese civilizations, and a good opportunity opens the way to continue the fruitful dialogue that enhances cultural diversity, enriches the two sides with knowledge and experiences, and establishes cooperation in order to achieve more development and prosperity, especially since the participants are great between the Arab and Chinese cultures.
