The UAE condemns the strongest terms targeting Qatar

The United Arab Emirates condemned in the strongest terms the targeting of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard of the Al -Aqdid Al -Air Base in the sisterly State of Qatar, considering this a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar and its airspace, and a clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, confirming its categorical rejection of any attack that threatens the security and safety of the State of Qatar and undermines the security and stability of the region.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the full solidarity of the UAE with the State of Qatar and its fixed support for everything that would protect the security and safety of its citizens and residents on its soil.

She also stressed the need for the immediate end to the military escalation, warning that the continuation of such escalation would undermine regional security and drag the region to dangerous paths that will have catastrophic repercussions on international peace and security.

The Ministry called for resorting to diplomatic solutions and the principle of good neighborhood, noting that a serious dialogue is the only way to overcome the current crises and preserve the security, stability of the region and peace of its people.
