“Gulf Cooperation” holds an exceptional meeting in Doha

Today, the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council states will hold an exceptional meeting in Doha.

Iran targeted the American “many” base in Qatar, in an attack that received wide condemnation.

Jassem Muhammad Al -Badawi, Secretary -General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, announced the 49th extraordinary meeting of the Ministerial Council, to discuss the latest developments in the Iranian missile attack on Qatar.

Al -Badawi said in a statement issued by the council, that the meeting will discuss during the convening of the latest developments in the Iranian missile attack that targeted the American “Al -Aqdar” base in Qatar, on Monday.

He stressed that the ministerial meeting comes “an affirmation of the countries of the Cooperation Council standing in one line with the brothers in Qatar.”

In addition to “asserting that Qatar’s security and stability is an integral part of the security and stability of the GCC states,” according to the statement.

Yesterday, Qatar announced the interception of Iranian missiles, indicating the evacuation of the military base.
