Coordination confirms the discipline of voting by Egyptians abroad

The Youth Parties and Politicians Coordination Operations Room monitored the orderly conduct of the voting process for Egyptians abroad during the first day of the second phase of the House of Representatives elections, inside 139 embassies and consulates in 117 countries, where the voting process began at nine in the morning local time for each country, amid a noticeable turnout in a number of capitals, especially in the Arab Gulf countries and some European countries.
The room also followed – on Around the clock – opening committees successively around the world; Starting from the first electoral committee at the Egyptian Embassy in New Zealand, which opened its doors at ten o’clock yesterday evening (Cairo time), until the last committee scheduled to open at the Egyptian Consulate in Los Angeles at seven o’clock this evening (Cairo time), confirming the readiness of the electoral headquarters and the continued arrival of voters in various countries.
She indicated that the second phase includes 13 Governorate, during which 1,316 candidates are competing on the individual system, in addition to one electoral list in the sectors of Cairo, South and Central Delta, and East Delta.
The chamber said that it had observed a heavy turnout from Egyptians in the Gulf, especially in Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, in addition to a noticeable turnout in a number of European countries, most notably Italy, and specifically at the consulate.
