On behalf of the Head of State… The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi arrives in Johannesburg to participate in the G20 summit

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, arrived in the city of Johannesburg in the friendly Republic of South Africa, to participate in the work of the G20 Summit on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”
The United Arab Emirates is participating in the 2025 G20 Summit in response to the invitation of His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the friendly Republic of South Africa.
During his participation in the summit, His Highness is accompanied by a delegation that includes Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment, Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri, Minister of State, Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Head of the Crown Prince’s Office in the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Office, and Maryam Eid Al Muhairi, Head of the Office of the Crown Prince. In its current session, which is being held for the first time on the African continent, the summit discusses a number of major global issues, most notably promoting comprehensive economic growth, supporting a just transition in the energy sector, and accelerating progress towards achieving sustainable development goals at the global level.
