The newspaper “Handelsblatt” indicated The German newspaper pointed out that the European Union faces the risk of a clash with Washington because of the new peace initiative regarding Ukraine.

The newspaper quoted a senior Belgian official as saying that some provisions in the plan could not be accepted by Europe.

The newspaper warned that “If US President Donald Trump insists on implementing the provisions as they are, the European Union faces the risk of a clash with Washington.”
