Dialogue and diplomatic solutions are the only way to overcome the region’s crises

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed with his brother His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the emir of the sisterly State of Qatar, yesterday, brotherly relations and joint action to enhance them for the good of the two countries and their two brotherly peoples, in addition to the developments of the situation in the Middle East and the efforts made to achieve peace and stability in a way that brings together growth and prosperity over all of their peoples.

This came during the reception of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, his brother, His Highness the President of the State, who made a brotherly visit to Qatar, in order to enhance the established bonds that link the two countries and their two brotherly peoples.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments of common concern, foremost of which is the current situation in the Middle East region, following the announcement of the ceasefire agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel, where in this context, His Highness the President of the State praised the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in facilitating the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, stressing His Highness the importance of concerted international efforts and joint coordination, to create ways To maintain the security and stability of the region.

His Highness renewed the solidarity of the UAE with the State of Qatar, and its standing alongside the siblings, following the attack that targeted its territory, stressing His Highness the state’s support for all the measures that Qatar takes to preserve its sovereignty, security and the safety of its people.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani expressed his thanks to His Highness the President of the State, for the sincere feelings of the Qatari people, valuing the position of the UAE and its solidarity with the State of Qatar following the military targeting of its lands.

The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening the paths of dialogue and diplomatic solutions, as they are the only way to overcome the region’s crises and maintain regional and global security.
