A fire broke out in some units of the Al-Ahmadi Refinery as a result of hostile drone attacks

The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced that the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company was subjected, at dawn today, Friday, to a number of hostile attacks using drones, which resulted in a fire breaking out in some units of the refinery.

The corporation said, in a statement broadcast by the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, that initial estimates indicate that no human casualties occurred as a result of these attacks.

She explained that fire and emergency teams immediately began dealing with the fire, and a number of units in the refinery were closed and all necessary procedures and measures were taken to ensure the safety of workers.
