Signing a memorandum of understanding between the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the Civil Aviation Department in Ras Al Khaimah

Based on the keenness of the two parties to enhance institutional cooperation and develop the mechanisms of joint action in the civil aviation sector, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the Civil Aviation Department in Ras Al -Khaimah signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at consolidating the strategic partnership and exchanging experiences in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of performance and ensuring the highest levels of security and safety in this vital sector.
The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Mohammed Abdullah Lajawi, represented the general manager of the authority, while he represented the Civil Aviation Department in Ras Al -Khaimah, Eng. Ismail Hassan Ismail Al -Balushi, Director General of the Department.
The memorandum aims to set a reference framework for cooperation between the two parties that includes the exchange of information, data and experiences, the formation of joint work teams, and the organization of periodic meetings to follow up the implementation of the memo’s items, and to address potential challenges, in a way that enhances institutional integration and achieves the strategic goals of the two parties.
In this context, Mohamed Abdullah Lenjawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, said, “:This memorandum represents an important step towards enhancing integration and coordination between the authorities concerned with the civil aviation sector in the country, as it reflects our joint commitment to support the process of development, innovation and advancement of safety and efficiency standards. We believe in the importance of unifying efforts and exchanging experiences with our partners in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in a way that serves the interest of the aviation sector and upgrading its services and in line with the aspirations of our wise leadership.
Engineer Ismail Hassan Ismail Al Balushi, Director General of the Civil Aviation Department in Ras Al -Khaimah, said, saying: The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority comes within the framework of our strategic vision aimed at enhancing institutional integration and activating partnerships with the national authorities concerned with the civil aviation sector. This step is a basic pillar of unifying efforts and exchanging experiences and technical knowledge, in a way that contributes to upgrading the level of operational efficiency, and to enhance safety and security standards in the airspace of the United Arab Emirates .. We are committed to achieving our common goals with our Dubai Civil Aviation partners in building a more flexible and sustainable civilian aviation sector, which strengthens the state’s position as a pioneering global center in the field of aviation.
The two sides concluded by emphasizing that the signing of this memorandum represents a promising start towards a sustainable strategic partnership, which enhances national efforts in the civil aviation sector, and consolidating the position of the UAE as a prominent global center in this vital sector.
