Dubai Municipality has stopped two engineering consultants off due to professional violations

Dubai Municipality announced the decision of the Committee for Age and Licensing of Practicing the Profession to suspend two engineering consultant offices and prevent them from licensing any new projects for a period of six months, after monitoring professional practices that contradict the approved regulations, requirements and ethics of the profession.

The municipality explained that these measures come within its tasks in organizing the profession of engineering consulting, and controlling the quality of work, in a manner that ensures the protection of the interests of the owners and developers, and to maintain safety standards and adhere to the highest levels of professional competence in the engineering sector.

The Dubai Municipality affirmed its keenness to continue control and scrutinize the engineering consulting offices to ensure adherence to the approved technical regulations and standards, and to take legal measures against any party that proves its violation of these obligations.
