Hamdan bin Mohammed is directed by the “World Sports Summit” in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, directed yesterday to organize the “World Sports Summit” in Dubai on December 29 and 30, to be the largest international sports gathering with the participation of sports stars, experts and decision makers in the field of sports worldwide.

His Highness said: “This summit will bring together the most important officials, coaches, specialists and current and former sports stars from around the world in Dubai to design the future of global sport .. We want to contribute through this global sports gathering in Dubai to employ opportunities, and to face the current and future challenges for sport to continue its important role in gathering peoples, inspiring generations, supporting the economy and developing talent, and being more enjoyable and beneficial to their fans and followers.”

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum added: “This summit will discuss the future of team and individual sports, and will discuss ways to support teams and sports clubs to improve the level of all sports … and we emphasize the importance of educational institutions and sports academies in preparing talents of all ages and all sports.”

The “World Sports Summit” will be organized by the Dubai Sports Council on December 29 and 30, 2025 in the city of Jumeirah, and will include a comprehensive program of dialogue sessions, major words, workshops, meetings and sports events.

Participants from various bodies, teams and sports federations will discuss during the summit work the future of sport in general, and the various economic, legislative, regulatory and societal aspects associated with it.

The main discussions of the summit dialogues include the future of sport, enhancing the interaction of the public in sports events, the growth of the economic size of various sports, in addition to reviewing the latest developments in sports technology in light of the accelerated growth of artificial intelligence applications and data analysis.

It is worth noting that Dubai has become one of the most important international destinations to host the largest sporting events throughout the year, thanks to its advanced infrastructure in the field of sports facilities, and its attractiveness to the most important teams, clubs, stars and sports talents.
