"Abu Dhabi Marine Sports" Release "Noukhada Abu Dhabi" With the participation of 68 students
Abu Dhabi, July 2/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club announced the launch of the activities of the “Noukhada Abu Dhabi” program, which is organized by the Club Academy, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and with the participation of 68 students.
The program continues for two months, with the aim of instilling the values of national identity, enabling the participants to the basic skills associated with the sea, on 22 feet bearings, swimming basics, driving modern boats, dealing with Optimist boats, identifying the components of the sea and weather, traditional navigation tools and reading wind speed.
Khalifa Al -Suwaidi, head of the Academy Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, stressed that the program is held under the supervision of a group of coaches, according to the highest quality and safety standards, to translate the club’s leadership’s vision in supporting the national heritage, pointing to great participation within two days, which reflects the extent of the interest of young people in the marine heritage.
