Friends of Arthritis Association adopts the 2025 plan
Sharjah, July 3 / WAM / The Friends of Arthritis Society, one of the associations supporting health of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, approved during its 2025 public assembly meeting its new action and budget, confirming its efforts to enhance societal awareness of joint diseases and ways to prevent them.
The General Assembly reviewed the presence of members of the Board of Directors and representatives of the Ministry of Community Empowerment and the Department of Social Services, the most prominent achievements of the association during the year 2024, including awareness initiatives and training workshops that aimed at raising the level of awareness of the importance of early detection and health care of the joints.
The new formation of the association’s board of directors was approved by His Excellency Wahida Abdel Aziz Mohamed, the membership of Dr. Souad Hanawi, His Excellency Aisha Al -Bairaq, Samira Al -Qassab, Sumaya Al Jasmi, Engineer Khalfan Al -Marashda, Engineer Abdel Aziz Fekry, Abdullah Al Tunaiji and Adel Al Hosani.
The annual financial report, which reflected the association’s commitment to transparency and governance standards, was also ratified, in addition to adopting the action plan for the next year, which focuses on developing health initiatives and expanding the scope of beneficiaries.
His Excellency Wahida Abdel Aziz, President of the Association, affirmed the association’s keenness to continue its message in societal awareness and raise awareness of joint diseases, in support of the vision of Sharjah in building a healthy and sustainable society.
