"Sharjah relations" and"Ministry of Tolerance" They cooperate to enhance the values ​​of coexistence and cultural understanding

Sharjah, July 4/ WAM/ The Department of Governmental Relations in Sharjah discussed with the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence joint cooperation to enhance human values ​​and consolidate the principles of cultural understanding and societal diversity, in a way that serves the national plans of the UAE and reflects the vision of Sharjah and its civilized mission.

This came during a meeting held at the headquarters of the department, chaired by Sheikh Fahm Al Qasimi, head of the Government Relations Department in Sharjah, in the presence of Rashid Ibrahim Al -Nuaimi, a strategic planning advisor and institutional performance management in the office of His Excellency the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.

The meeting reviewed a number of government initiatives aimed at consolidating the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence, and strengthening the role of government institutions as an incubating environment for these values, and among these initiatives is the “government incubated tolerance” initiative and the “Pulse of Tolerance” award, in a way that enhances the exchange of knowledge and best institutional practices, and contributes to the consolidation of the culture of tolerance at the level of individuals and society.

Sheikh Fahim Al -Qasimi stressed that enhancing the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence represents an extension of the vision of the UAE, which laid the foundations of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “May God rest his soul” and focus on consolidating the principles of equality, respect and openness to the other, which is the vision that the Emirates people continue to follow with the directives of wise leadership.

He pointed out that this meeting embodies the importance of institutional cooperation in establishing values ​​and turning them into practical practices that enhance societal cohesion and sustainable development, especially since Sharjah is a pivotal partner in this path, with its cultural and humanitarian heritage that supports qualitative initiatives to consolidate the values ​​of dialogue and coexistence.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence oversees the implementation of the national program for tolerance and works with institutions and societies locally and internationally to employ a culture of tolerance an effective tool for development, coexistence and peace.

Sharjah is a pioneering model in integrating the values ​​of coexistence within its vision of sustainable development and embracing a diverse religious and cultural facilities that embody the spirit of openness and dialogue between civilizations.
