The Emirates Group reviews its initiatives for sustainability in the aviation sector

The Emirates Group has accompanied the United Nations invitation for this year to eliminate the pollution of plastic materials in its annual sustainability exhibition, “Tomorrow’s launch”, which embodies the group’s commitment to adopting the highest sustainability standards in its various activities and operations.

The group stated, in a statement yesterday, that the exhibition reflected the message of the international organization calling for reducing the uniquely used plastic products, as the exhibits highlighted the efforts of the Emirates and “Danata” companies in the field of sustainability, and their commitment to the “responsible consumption” approach by rationalizing the use and reuse of plastic materials, and working to reduce plastic waste and other waste.

The current year exhibition also included leading initiatives that have a positive impact at the group level, including projects implemented by Emirates and Danata with partners carrying the same trends, within the various departments and departments, including engineering departments, catering, shipping, airport operations, travel, service and others.
