It was announced that the student, Aisha Nizar Nazim, was announced from the seventh grade at the Zaha Hadid School for Excellences, affiliated to the Nineveh region, during the closing ceremony of the ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge witnessed by the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, in the presence of the Minister of Education, Dr. Ibrahim Nasmis al -Jubouri, and the advisor to the Prime Minister for Education, Dr. Adnan Al -Sarraj, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Administrative Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Committee, Muhammad Dai Al -Azzawi, Acting at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Baghdad, Mohammed Saleh Al -Tunaiji, the participation of the Director of Programs and Initiatives at the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation, Dr. Fawzan Al -Khalidi, a number of officials and educators based on the Arab Reading Challenge initiative, and a large crowd of parents of the participating students.

The closing ceremony also witnessed the announcement of the victory of the student, Maria Hassan Ajil, from the fifth grade in the Al -Farraa School for Girls of Salah al -Din, in the first place in the category of people of determination, among the 450 male and female students who participated in the qualifiers.

The ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative achieved record participation of 32 million and 231 thousand students from 50 countries, representing 132 thousand and 112 schools, under the supervision of 161 thousand, four supervisors and supervisors.

The Minister of Education in the Republic of Iraq appreciated the vital role played by the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives”, in enabling new Arab generations to obtain knowledge, science and skills necessary for the future industry, pointing to the successive successes achieved by the Arab Reading Challenge initiative in this context, and its concrete impact in spreading the culture of reading and developing the capabilities of Arab students.

He said: «We are proud of this new participation in the Arab Reading Challenge initiative, as it has proven the development of the educational and cultural scene in Iraq, and the effectiveness of the plans that the Ministry of Education sets to advance the level of students and enhance the position of the Arabic language, in line with our ancient civilized heritage and the creations of the people of Iraq in various fields, in a way that enhances our confidence in a brighter tomorrow for our country and our Arab nation.

The student, Aisha Nizar Nazim, congratulated the winners, winners and students participating in the competitions and their families, and schools and educational cadres in the regions of Iraq, thanks to the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation, and for everyone who contributed to the success of the ninth session qualifiers.
