The Federal Human Resources Authority issued a circular directed at all ministries and federal authorities in the country, regarding the policy of “returning to schools” 2025-2026And, in support of government employees from parents by allowing them to accompany their children to schools and nurseries at the beginning of the new academic year.

The “return to schools” policy focuses on providing the necessary flexibility in the work environment without affecting the workflow and providing services, as parents working in the federal government who have children in schools are allowed to take them to and from the school through morning delay or early departure on the first school day, for a period of up to three hours, whether it is combined or divided into two morning or evening periods, provided that the direct principal approves.

As for government employees who have children in nurseries and kindergarten, they can obtain an early morning delay or early departure during the first school week, for a period of up to three hours a day, taking into account the different days of the study, according to the specified curriculum for the school from the competent authorities.

The policy of “returning to schools” also provides additional capabilities for flexible work on occasions and other circumstances related to the academic year, so that this does not violate the workflow and does not contradict the human resources law in the federal government and its executive regulations, as employees can be granted permission to attend parent meetings or graduation occasions and activities for their children, for a period not exceeding three hours.

This generalization seeks to balance the work requirements and family obligations of employees, which enhances the government’s support for its employees and providing a flexible work environment.
