The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stresses the need for the urgent action to protect the Al -Aqsa Mosque
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the United Nations and its organizations and specialized councils, especially UNESCO & quot; to assume their responsibilities and urgent action to save the city of Jerusalem and its Christian and Islamic sanctities, especially the Al -Aqsa Mosque, and to provide protection from the occupation plans and its unique escalatory steps. The Ministry – in a statement today, Sunday, reported by the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) – on the need to take the necessary active measures capable of deterring and holding Israel accountable for its continuous aggression against the Holy City as a violation of international law, and falls within the framework of the extermination, displacement, Judaization and annexation that the Palestinian people are subjected to.
