Umm Al Quwain Municipality provides 25,000 meals to workers as part of the “Iftar Fasting” initiative

Umm Al Quwain, March 16 / WAM / The Umm Al Quwain Municipality Department distributed 25,000 iftar meals to workers in a number of labor sites in the emirate, as part of the “Iftar a Fasting” initiative that it implements during the holy month of Ramadan, within the framework of its community and humanitarian programs aimed at supporting the workers category and promoting the values of social solidarity in society.
A number of municipal employees and volunteers participated in implementing the initiative, and breakfast meals were distributed to workers in the Umm Al-Thuoub industrial area, in a humanitarian atmosphere that reflects the spirit of the holy month, and highlights the appreciation that the municipality attaches to the role of workers and their efforts in supporting the development and construction process that the emirate is witnessing in various sectors.
The Umm Al Quwain Municipality Department confirmed that organizing the “Iftar Fasting” initiative comes within the framework of its social responsibility and its keenness to support various segments of society, especially the workers category, explaining that these initiatives contribute to consolidating the values of solidarity and compassion and strengthening human ties between members of society.
