The evaluation phase for Sharjah Excellence Award candidates for the 2025 session has begun

Sharjah, 16 March / WAM / The Sharjah Excellence Award, organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, announced the start of the evaluation phase for all its categories, after the closing of the submission of applications for participation and the receipt of the final files of the participating entities in the 2025 session.
The number of participants in the award reached more than 120 participants from various economic sectors, a prominent indicator of the advanced status of the award as a leading platform for promoting institutional excellence, innovation and economic leadership.
The award’s Board of Trustees explained that the evaluation teams have begun the documentary evaluation phase of the participating files, with field visits to the participating entities starting at the end of this March, and initial scores will be set during next April in preparation for presenting them to the arbitration committees.
Nada Al Hajri, the general coordinator of the award, pointed out that the Sharjah Excellence Award in its current session has received wide participation and participation from various private sector institutions and business communities in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which reflects the prestigious position that the award has established as a pioneering platform for promoting the culture of institutional excellence, innovation and economic leadership at the level of the country and the region.
She pointed out that the award is keen, in each cycle, to develop its work system and standards in line with international best practices, which enhances its role in motivating institutions to adopt the concepts of quality and leadership and raise the level of their institutional performance.
She added that the award adopts in this session an advanced global model for evaluation processes based on the fourth generation and based on a set of international standards that focus on institutional performance, innovation and sustainability.
The “Sharjah Excellence Award” seeks to spread a culture of quality among economic establishments and implement best practices that contribute to establishing standards of outstanding performance. It includes 8 categories: the Sharjah Gulf Emiratisation Award, the Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award, the Sharjah Excellence Award, the Sharjah Award for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Award, the Sharjah Award for Social Responsibility, the Sharjah Award for Best Facility Conforming to Security Standards, and the Sharjah Award for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities.
