The owner of the Al -Nasr Travel Office, Sayed Talib Al -Darazi, confirmed that the movement began to rise gradually, indicating that the reservations returned significantly, whether for tourist or religious trips.

He explained that a large number of travelers who canceled their reservations during the war period returned to reservation again, in a clear indication of the beginning of the recovery stage, stressing that this recovery cannot be considered completely, but rather a gradual recovery, due to the great influence that the media plays in shaping individuals ’decisions on travel.

Al -Darazi added that there is a high demand for destinations such as Russia, Southeast Asia, and Turkey, while countries such as Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan are partially recovered.

He stressed that the prices did not witness a rise, but rather returned to their normal levels, expecting that the reservations will rise more after the end of the Ashura season, especially to destinations such as Thailand and Malaysia, due to its distance from the foci of political tension and its suitability for the summer season. For his part, Hussein Khamis, from the Safareem Land, explained that the demand for travel has increased slightly, but it is still below the desired level. He pointed out that some travelers feared the previous situation, along with the Ashura season, contributed to reducing the reservation rates, expecting that the period after Ashura will witness an improvement in the movement of travel.

He pointed out that there is a good demand for religious trips, especially to Iraq, while the demand for some tourist destinations such as Georgia remains limited, and he stressed that the prices of flights did not witness any changes.

Safareem Land company confirmed in a separate statement that the demand for travel witnessed a remarkable improvement after the war stopped, pointing out that there are reservations on summer tourist trips, especially to Yas Island in the United Arab Emirates, in addition to a remarkable demand for Turkey, specifically Istanbul, indicating that prices vary according to the quality of the “packets”, where they offer offers dedicated to families and others dedicated to individuals.
